Winners at the Build It Awards 2024

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded 'Best Oak Frame Home' of the Year at the 2024 Build It Awards.

Last month, we shared the exciting news of our nominations for two significant awards: 'Best Oak Frame Home' and 'Best Turnkey Home'. Last Friday, we joined talented industry partners at the awards ceremony in London, where we were honoured with the award for Best Oak Frame Home.

This award celebrates the beautiful woodland home of Paul and Mandy, a project designed by our Regional Designer, Pete Tonks. Pete brought their vision to life with a home that feels as though it has evolved naturally over the years, nestled within 17 acres of ancient woodland. The design not only blends seamlessly with its environment but also incorporates future-proofing features and energy efficiency, ensuring that the home will meet the needs of Paul and Mandy for years to come. The homeowners' wish list came together in a home that is both a harmonious extension of its surroundings and a model of modern sustainable living.

The Build It Awards

The Build It Awards, in association with Buildstore, are an annual celebration that recognises innovation and excellence in the custom and self-build home market.

‘Best Oak Frame Home’ category is for self-build homes that have been designed and constructed using a green oak structure. Judges look at overall design, efficiency, innovation, how the building system enhanced the project, and how the homeowners’ needs were achieved.
