What can I expect from this open day?

For many of us, designing and building a home will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience and one where you should feel fully supported, confident, and most importantly, inspired.

When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted by the homeowners Sonia and Jamie, alongside members of our team, before enjoying a guided tour of their stunning home. This is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the look, feel and practicality of a low-energy oak frame home.

You will also have the opportunity to talk through your ideas for your home with one of our Architectural Design team, who will be happy to answer any questions you may have on aspects such as planning permission.

Meet the homeowners

Jamie and Sonia lived next door to the site they later purchased in Warwickshire for seven years. Then in 2015 when the plot became available, they began pondering its possibilities. The site comprised a 1950s bungalow that they initially considered improving and extending. However, after discussing the challenges this may present vs. the self-building opportunities with a builder, they purchased the plot with a vision to design and construct their dream family home...
