Location: Open to hybrid working, our offices are in Hereford, HR4 7PU
Salary: £35K – £45K per annum, DOE
Contract: Full time, Permanent

Are you a seasoned Building Regulations Technician ready to take on exciting, high-quality residential and commercial projects?
We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Building Regulations Technician. With us, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping distinctive homes and structures, blending regulatory expertise with creative problem-solving.
The Role:
- Drawing and Applications: You’ll confidently create and submit Building Regulations applications, ensuring compliance with Approved Documents.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A strong understanding of Building Regulations is required, particularly for residential projects, with some commercial experience being beneficial.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. Familiarity with SketchUp and Vectorworks is a bonus.
- Problem Solving: Respond effectively to plan checks, site queries, and collaborate with local authorities to ensure approvals.
- Specialist Knowledge: Experience with oak framing is helpful, though training can be provided.
What You Bring:
- A minimum of 5 years' practical experience working in a Building Regulations or architectural technician role.
- MCIAT qualification or equivalent.
- Excellent technical skills, with the ability to produce high-quality, compliant drawings.
- Strong communication and client-facing abilities to liaise confidently with clients, consultants, and authorities.
- A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines efficiently.
