What you'll be doing as our accounts assistant:
This role is about more than just crunching numbers, this is a role where you will get hands on experience across a variety of finance tasks, helping to keep our business running smoothly and efficiently:
- Supporting accounts payable and receivable tasks
- Reconciling supplier and credit card statements and resolving discrepancies
- Posting journal entries and maintaining the general ledger
- Ensuring accurate coding and allocation of expenses
- Processing employee expense claims in line with company policy
- Assisting with ledger analysis and budget planning
- Performing stock reconciliations and maintaining the fixed asset register
- Month-end balance sheet reconciliations
- Gaining exposure to a variety of finance tasks and projects that will grow your skills and confidence
